May
I have been off birth control for nearly 2 months now. Last month I started my period on April 28th, it is now Might 17th and my nipples are sore. I have been trying to see when I ovulate but honestly im not for sure when I’m. I ave had a lot of discharge since thursday the 14th and alitte pain on my left side on friday the 15th. The discharge has been long and strechy when I wipe, therefore I believe that was because I was either about to ovulate or whatever. I had unproteced sex on the 13th and yes he went inside of me, i figured that I ovulated on tuesday the 12th because of the whole 14th day thing.
The whole reason I am asking this is because its sunday the 17th and my nipples are sore, is it because my period is going to begin in the next 12-14 days or could I be pregnant? Its just all so confusing!! So if anyone can help out in anyway, that would be helpful.
Sorry that its so long!
Answer:
Are you trying to get pregnant? If so, you very well could be.
You can't rely on dates for your ovulation and period. Every woman is different and we all bleed and ovulate at different times. Especially since you just got off Birth control, it could take up to 6 months for your body to regulate itself.
Your nipples might be sensitive either because your body is releasing hormones, or because your little bun just hopped in the oven. It might be too soon to take a pregnancy test, but I do advise it. Take one each couple of days until you get your period. If you don't get your period and the tests are still negative, go see your gynecologist as it could be a tubal or ectopic pregnancy
Answer:
my wife's breast were tender just before her period.
I suspect that you body is attempting to adjust from the birth control pills. You might call your physician and see if there isn't some way to gradually come off the pill so your body won't have such a dramatic change. Wouldn't injured to confirm that this isn't indicative of a more serious problem. Your problem might not be your breasts, your breasts could be a sign of a underlying more serious condition.
Answer:
i am in the exact same boat as you, give or take a day or two.
but my nipples are beyond sore. my fiance cant even touch them and i have to wear a bra 24/7 because the rubbing of a tee shirt irritates them.

this question had insane amounts of perverts answering!
Answer:
It sounds like you probably ovulated the 15th or 16th. My breasts always hurt when I ovulate. They usually start hurting the day before I ovulate and they injured until I get my period. I also had pain on my right side this month the day before I ovulated.
