just to keep your underwear clean…?? cause i heard that you should do that but i wasn't sure… i don't but just to keep it clean, is it a good idea or is it not necessary?
Answer:
If you get a lot of vaginal discharge after your period, many women use pantyliners. these are for the sole purpose of keeping you feeling fresh and your knickers clean. They aren't for when you're on your period, they are a lot lighter and less absorbent.
It's never nessecary, it just makes you feel fresher and keeps your panties cleaner, but this doesn't matter as vaginal discharge washes out easliy.
Also, if it's just after or just before your period, many women feel safer using a pantyliner just in case there’s a tiny bit of blood before/after the period.
hope i helped!
Answer:
Pantyliners definitely instead of pads on non-period days.
This is really funny for me actually because I used to be so paranoid about this. I am active duty Navy and we wear whites as our summer uniform. This means a thin, white, polyester pant that is pretty see through to start with. I was a lot younger then too. I would during the summer months and our whites season always wear the pantyliners just in case. I have grown out of that and thankfully the Navy has changed its working uniform.
If this is a concern for you sometimes what I found worked for me toward the end of my paranoia was wearing the pantyliner about three days before and three days after my period, just to be safe. But honestly whatever makes you feel comfortable and clean isn’t wrong.
Answer:
No but think about using panty liners instead, the are thinner and protect the underwear just as well if it's only discharge.
Try not to wear them in bed, ideally you should grant the area to 'breathe'. Sanitary protection can sometimes trigger thrush.
Answer:
I personally think it is unnecessary. I would only use them about 4 days before when the discharge is heavier. But during the rest of the month you don't need to, though some women do find it more clean. I find it annoying and unnecessary but it's really personal choice.
Answer:
What you want is panty liners - they’re much smaller and thinner than pads, and you even get scented ones if thats what you fancy!
Its not necessary, I mean most people wear fresh knickers each day anyway, but its your choice.
Answer:
No. I wear pantyliners when l've completed my periods. It collects the discharge that we produce to keep moist, and we also feel fresher and much more cleaner.
Answer:
Not pads, but panty liners. It's really up to you if you want to wear them or not. I do sometimes, but not very often.
