Okay, i would like to begin using tampons because i am starting secondary school very soon and the hours are longer but i don't know how to tell her because we were speaking about it earlier today and she stated she does not enjoy it but i would like to use it.
So how can i convince her to let me use tampon
I have done all the research i can have i know all about the infection and everything.
So can anyone tell me how to convince her to let me use a tampon.

Oh honey, I totally understand this! I was the same, I didn't know how to ask her!! Everytime I even thought of asking her I'd get awful butterflies and feel like I couldn't tell her!!
What I did was she asked if I needed anything before she went grocery shopping and I stated no. When she had gone I text her as if I forgot and sai 'actually, can you get me a box of regular tampons please?' she rang me and just asked me was I sure and if I had used them before.
I'm not advising you to take this approach, it's just proof that she wont object to it like you think she will!

She's your mum, she cannot dictate what sanitary protection you use.
Does she force you to wash your hair a certain way? Do you’ve to wash yourself a certain way in the shower because she wants it done that way?

It's simply personal hygiene, if you’ve done the research and feel comfortable with it then just run with it. Tell your mum she has two options - 1> waste her money on unused sanitary towels or; 2> purchase you tampons and keep you happy - resulting in a happy relationship between you and her!

Tell her that since the hours are longer in school, you'll need better protection from leaks and odor. Not to mention it gym will be so much superior if you don't have to worry about leaking or your pad showing. Ask her to help you pick tampons out so she knows what you use, and she is involved. I don't really understand why so many moms oppose it- it's just cotton to absorb blood that’s inserted into the vagina! Just explain to her that you would like to begin using them as you feel more comfortable with them.
If she refuses, well It's not really up to her what sanitary protection you use- if you have pocket money then purchase your own.

you do not need to ask your mum if you can use tampons. it is your descision. as long as use change them regularly and don't wear them at night (when you go to sleep) then they’ll be fine. just tell your mum that you would be more comfortable wearing tampons rather than sanitary towels. hopefully she'll comprehend but if not then it doesn't REALLY matter as it's not her choice. i agree with the first answer hun,its ur decision if u want to use tampons,especially when u are at school,the are more comfortable and discreet,i felt so uncomfortable wearing towels at school,but it is good to talk to ur mum,hopefully she’ll comprehend.good luck.
