Well I'm trying for a baby and the other night while I had my bum propped up on the pillows after sex to help the sperm move down easier I fell asleep… I seem to be making a habbit of this.

Some people swear by keeping sperm in you overnight to getting pregnant easily..

Obviously it comes out the next day with my CM and I wash etc.

Am I putting myself at any risk? or is this infact going to help me get pregnant?

Thanks everyone :)
P.s I'm late :) Testing in a week when my partner comes back from his managers course :D fingers crossed!

Answer:
I do that i go sleep after sex i don't wash my self straightaway but as soon i wake up i go to the toilet i wipe myself and i've had no problems so far i don't think you’ll get an infection as long you wipe yourself in the morning when you wake up.. Good Luck on getting pregnant =) Baby dust to you hope everything works out xx

You should move this question to the Pregnancy & Parenting section, you'll get a lot more responses there. Otherwise to answer your question - a friend of mine did this a few times and got a terrible infection. I think it was a bladder infection, but anyway, she couldn't have sex for about a week and a half while on the medication her doctor prescribed.

Answer:
You are not putting yourself at risk for anything.

Semen is considered sterile upon ejaculation. Therefore, unless your husband has some STI's he hasn't told you about, you should be fine.

Normal, healthy semen does not cause infections if left in the vagina overnight.

Peace

Answer:
You are at no risk, but you seem to be so desperate to have a baby that it might be affecting the possibility of you falling pregnant, just rest and go with the flow, it will happen when your body is ready!

Answer:
You are not putting yourself at risk by propping your bottom up after sex. It just might be an old wives tale, but if it helps, do it. Good Luck.

Answer:
As long as his penis was clean to start with then you should be fine! Ejaculate itself isn't apt to cause an infection. Your technique will help a little (but not much!).

Good luck!
