Ive had my period for near enough 3 years, and some of my friends use tampons. Well.. i use pads. Do you think its wrong that i dont use tampons? Im just worried it would get stuck or something.

Not at all, I don't use tampons. It's personal choice. Do whatever feels right and comfortable for YOU, not just because your friends do it.

nothing is wrong with that at all. ive been having my period for 5 months now (and i want to shoot myself in the foot its so annoying lol) and the only time i where tampons is once a week when im at my swim team practice. Its fine if you dont want to use them but dont begin just because your friends are wearing them, use them because you effing annoyed with pads lol or your in a situation that you need to wear them like swimming or a really long exam… or something
they wont get stuck if you put it in proporly though, if you read the instructions very carefully and maybe ask your mom then it should be fine. so maybe if you want to try them but you arent comfortable then get a pack and then try one when your on your period so its easier to get in…

But, tampons can't get stuck. And they can't get lost inside. The vagina is a fixed length, ranging from 4-7 inches, depending on your body position and where you’re in your cycle. It's closed at the top (the cervix/opening to the vagina has a VERY small opening that a tampon can’t get through), and so there's nowhere for the tampon to go. When it's time to remove the tampon, you simply grab the string and pull. It can be a tiny uncomfortable, but it WILL come out. Don't worry.

definetly not wrong to be using pads. my mother has used pads all her life, but my sister always uses tampons. i just got my period, so i've just been using pads. everyone's different, don't sweat it
