i used to wear mines to bed because i thought going bra-less would hurt but it doesn't.
Mines are pretty big too and i find going bra-less at night is great and they hurt a lot less without being constantly hoicked up to my neck lol
try it for a few nights and see if it feels superior for you
i would definently advocate not wearing a bra at night :)

Answer:
In 1995, a book - Dressed To Kill (Avery Press, revised edition 2001) by authors Sydney Ross Singer and Soma Grismaijer (a husband-and-wife team) had come out with claims that wearing a bra throughout the day increased woman’s risk of breast cancer by 125 times.

The authors claim to have discovered a possible trigger for breast cancer in interviews of 4,730 women in five major US cities, conducted between 1991 and 1993.

Their books list the following findings:

* Women who wore their bras for 24 hours per day had a 3 out of 4 chance of developing breast cancer (their study included 2056 subjects for the cancer group and 2674 for the standard group).

* Women who wore bras more than 12 hour per day but not to bed had a 1 out of 7 risk.

* Women who wore their bras less than 12 hours per day had a 1 out of 152 risk.

* Women who wore bras rarely or never had a 1 out of 168 chance of getting breast cancer.

According to the World Health Organization, chemical toxins are the primary cause of cancer.

Poisons accumulating in breast tissue are normally flushed by clear lymph fluid into massive clusters of lymph nodes nestling in the armpits and upper chest. Because lymphatic vessels are very thin, they’re extremely sensitive to pressure and are easily compressed. Chronic minimal pressure, such as tight bra straps or bands, on the breasts can cause lymph valves and vessels to close.

A look at the breast cancer rate in countries where bra wearing is not the norm shows a very low incidence of breast cancer. Japanese women living in Japan, where bra-wearing is uncommon, have a very low incidence of breast cancer; however in second generation Japanese-American women, the breast cancer rate sky-rockets to match that of the Western world.

Highly respected studies, including one at Harvard, published in 1991, have shown that women who wear bras for extended periods are at much higher risk of developing breast cancer than those who do not (60 percent lesser chance).

There is strong evidence that this is as a result of impaired lymphatic flow. wearing a bra, especially a constricting one with underwires and/or tight straps, and especially to bed, prevents normal lymphatic flow and would likely lead to anoxia (lower than normal oxygen content), which has been related to fibrosis, which has been linked to increased cancer risk.

The logical conclusion is that bras should be used as tiny as possible, if at all.

Researchers state that women evolved under conditions where there was breast movement with each step that they took when they walked or ran.

Scientific literature about lymphatic flow indicates that this might be as important as the constriction factor. Each subtle bounce of the breast while moving, walking, running, etc. gently massages the breast and increases lymphatic flow and thus cleans the breast of toxins and wastes that arise from cellular metabolism.

If you’re a woman, next time think twice, before you splurge on that fashionable tight bras, or corsets for that matter, which models and celebrities endorse.

Answer:
i wore a bra to bed a couple of times, and i got back pain. i linked it to wearing a bra.
it might not have been the bra, but whenever i would lie on my stomach for example, and then raise myself up, you know the yoga position, i would get a pain right where the bra closes in the centre of your back.
i dont wear a bra to bed and i my back dosent hurt there when i do that yoga position. i wouldnt wear one regardless of whether or not it gives back pain, everyone is different but there’s no need to support those babies when lying down in bed, is there?

Answer:
Bad for you, especially if it has an underwire. Bras are made to support you while you're up and about, but the minute you lie down gravity grabs you boobs and pulls 'em about. This means that underwire edges will dig into your boobs, damaging the tissues, which could eventually lead to difficulties with breast feeding.

Answer:
I'm not sure if the breast size make a different to if it is good or bad, but I have small breasts and I sometimes wear a bra in bed and sometimes don't.
Some of my bras don't fit properly though, so I don't think it makes a difference as long as your bras are fitted properly and are comfortable.

Answer:
To me you just have to let the girls out for a while and definitely when you go to bed. Also….you should wear a bra during the day especially if you have huge breasts..because you can sag and it is not good for them. You don't want anything constricting you at night when you are sleeping. I would wear no bra for at night time or just find the most comfortable loose fitting bra you can find for at night.

Answer:
If it is just a soft triangle bra it wont hurt but if there is padding or /and underwiring its not that good for you..something about the pressure it puts on the glands in ur breasts i think. Cos ur in dif positions when you are sleeping compared to when your up during the day

Answer:
I wear a bra for bed and have done for years,
Its not caused any damage to me so i suppose it isn't too bad.

It just depends how you feel with a bra on, with me it gives me confidence so i wear them all the time.

Answer:
The reason for wearing a bra is to support your breasts due to gravity..when you are in bed they’re not susceptible to the same problem - so fling that bra off for the night!

Answer:
A bra constricts the lymphatic system under the skin. Researchers are currently investigating links between this and breast cancer…

So you might want to be on the safe side and not wear one at all or at night.
